Since the internet creation, many companies have taken the top rating by making our lives easier, such Wikipedia, independent blogs, or the excellence searching machine; Google.
Google is, in the most of the computers, the first website we see when we enter the internet, making the life much easier for being the faster searcher. This will be our very first option in the search of knowledge, leaving behind the harder ways, like search in books or official articles, even in newspapers.
When we have to study, we will curry to our searcher, this will disencourage the traditional ways of learning, such read books, university studies, newspapers, etc...
But in the other hand, I consider that is an extreme idea of people leaving behind the privilege of taking classes or even doing an own field work because of Google. It's even more likely that Google motivate people to do their own works and investigation and post ideas in the internet.
In summary, Google has both pros and cons, but is really affecting our learning?

Dialog
C- I'm thinking about having a baby with this new test tube thing...
J- Stop, I read an article about this and it said it was unnatural and there is a possibility of breaking goverment policy '
C- But are you sure that the article is saying the truth? Because there are a lot of hospitals and clinics promoting this service, and the goverment doesn't care about that
J- Maybe you are right, but it's still unnatural and inappropriate and elitist, because you can choose the sex of your child and the skin color.
C- That's the good thing about that, you can have the son or daughter you always wanted, also it's a modern way of having a baby. And I have my reproductive rights
J- But what about the rights of the baby, he/she also has rights, maybe in the school his classmates will bother him because of being a test tube baby
C- You are right, maybe I need to reconsider this

Task 1; Cloning humans
In our labs in the London international genetic biology labs we are making several investigations and manufacturing special machines to do something that can change the world as we know them; cloning the first human. We tested with monkeys, so can work with humans too. This person will be a normal human, voluntary, of course, because our goal is not to make a new Elvis Presley or a new Albert Einstein. Most important than the fact of creating a first human is to create a healthy child, because it can be a huge mistake creating a not healthy child that in the future can get serious diseases or more easily to get diseases. We want this to be a secret for now on, because this will be a potential debate theme.

12 years a slave
12 years a slave, first a novel, then a movie. This novel take place in the united states, in their years of the black slaves as a legal business. A free man is kidnapped by slave traders, who make the business legal by sending them to boats for their selling to white men or millionaires who want slaves for hard work or only for servants. There are constant racist jokes or songs, they treat the black man as a beast, even saying that monkeys know the same as them. In my personal opinion, I think this people were stupid by thinking like that.
Discrimination in our school
Only a year ago, we had an USA partner in our class. This person was my friend in good and bad times. He went to our School at 5th grade. His problem? He was fatter from the rest of us. He was product of discrimination from 5th grade to 1th medio, year that he went back to the United States, were he got his friends. A particular case were some class partners who constantly were discriminating him only for his physical appearance. I still talk with him sometimes by the internet, he's happy in his country now.
It's different because this person has a different skin color and facial features that differ from ours. Years ago, a person with this physical would had been downplayed and judged by our society due to ethnocentrism, also because people with those features were something that the society was not used to see. In other side, this person can fit perfectly in our society, because me and my friends are not racist persons, so we'll not treat him in special form or things like that.
